Overview

- The importance of a spill kit cannot be emphasised enough. Having the correct absorbents close at hand, in the right quantity and container is key to any successful spill recovery outcome. ESP spill kits are used throughout the world in a host of different situations which in itself speaks volumes. - These spill kits are contained within a robust static container that can also be used to remove the contents of a spill once it has been recovered along with the absorbent used. The spill kits range in size from smaller to quite large specialist screw top containers. Once used, the contents of a spill kit can be replenished, making them a cost effective solution.

Features

75 Litre (20 US Gallon) Static Overpack

The drum container for this spill kit keeps the absorbents clean, dry and ready for use when needed.
A large gauge threaded lid and rigid construction allows the drum to be used as an overpack.

Spill kit’s contents include:

10 x Pads size 38 cm x 46 cm (15” x 18”)

The pads in this spill kit are medium weight sonic bonded meltblown polypropylene Chemical.
They feature excellent wicking properties and sonic bond points that prevent stray fibres from becoming detached.

4 x Pillows size 23 cm x 38 cm (9” x 15”)

These pillows feature a spun-bond outer surface with a super absorbent flake core.
This next generation absorbent will absorb and hold large quantities of aggressive, hazardous or unknown fluids.

3 x Socks size 8 cm x 1.2 m (3” x 4’)

These socks feature a spun-bond outer sleeve with a durable stitched seam.
The core is a next generation absorbent that will recover aggressive and unknown spills.
Durable plastic clips seal the sock at both ends.

1 x Waste Bags

These are made from a tough grade of polythene.
There is also a cable tie supplied so that the waste can be secured safely.

1 pair of gloves

Waterproof gloves help to ensure safe handling of spilled substance.

1 pair of goggles

All-in one clear goggles provide eye protection from splashes.

Application

This spill kits feature a combination of pads and socks that will contain and recover a 75 litre spill of hazardous oil-based and water-based fluid as well as the essential equipment needed to handle the clean up process.
Please note extra caution should be taken when dealing with hazardous or unknown spill types.
