Overview

WESCODYNE is an iodine-based sanitizer specially formulated as a hand and boot dip in the food processing industry.

Features

Simple to use as the colour of the solution tells the user when solution has be 'used up' and is no longer adequately disinfecting. Large volumes can be made from concentrate depending on user's desired quantity.

Gives a brown coloration to its solution to indicate its presence. Product must be added when solution fades.

Use procedure: Prepare a cold or warm solution of WESCODYNE and place near employees’ workstations so that they may dip their hands regularly without having to leave the area. It is recommended that employees lightly scrub their hands after soaking. Replace solution approximately every 4 hours or when the brown colour has disappeared or faded.
Concentration: Dilute 33 mL of WESCODYNE per 20 litres of water to obtain 25 ppm of titratable iodine.
Temperature: Between 15ºC and 30ºC
Dwell time / Operation time: None.
Mechanical action: Rub hands together after dipping.
Rinsing: Not required.
Reuse/recycling: Verify the iodine concentration approximately every 4 hours and replace solution every 8 hours.
