Overview

360° Full Dome Mirrors provide a 360-degree view ideal for 4-way intersections, increasing surveillance and preventing accidents due to blind spots. The mirrors come with chains and hooks for hanging (T-Barclips available for drop ceilings). Edges are guarded by metal-reinforced, black vinyl bumper trim for extra strength and protection.

Technical Information

Typical form depth tolerance will be +/- 3mm which equates to a typical radius tolerance for a 152mm radius of curvature of +/-8mm (144.27mm – 160.91mm).
Heat Resistance: Ralston CanSafe Mirrors can be used at temperatures from -30°F (-34°C) up to +190°F (+88°C), depending on the application. It is recommended that temperatures not exceed 160°F (71°C) for continuous service, or 190°F (88°C) for short, intermittent use. Ralston CanSafe mirrors should not be exposed to high heat sources such as high wattage incandescent lamps, unless the finished product is ventilated to permit the dissipation of heat.
UV Resistance: Ralston CanSafe Mirrors will withstand exposure to blazing sun, extreme cold, sudden temperature changes, salt water spray, etc. They will not deteriorate or discolor after many years of service because of the inherent stability of acrylic resins. Minimum Reflectance is 90%. Average is 94%.
Chemical Resistance: Ralston CanSafe Mirrors have excellent resistance to many chemicals including:
1. solutions of inorganic alkali’s
2. dilute acids such as sulfuric acid up to a concentration of 30%
3. aliphatic hydrocarbons such as hexane and VM&P naphtha
Corrosion Resistance: Ralston CanSafe Mirrors have successfully been tested to 1000 hours of continuous Salt Spray in accordance with ASTM B117. No deterioration of acrylic, aluminum or back paint was observed.
